The MG Astor is priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 16.66 lakh, making it an affordable mid-size SUV. The car comes in four variants: Style, Super, Smart, and Sharp. The base variant Style is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a five-speed manual transmission, while the Super variant comes with the same engine but with a CVT automatic gearbox. The Smart and Sharp variants are powered by a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Motor, Battery, Range & Top Speed

The MG Astor is available with two engine options. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 118 bhp of power and 150 Nm of torque, while the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine delivers 139 bhp of power and 220 Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre engine is available with a five-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox, while the 1.3-litre engine comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The car’s battery capacity has not been disclosed by the company yet. The Astor comes with a fuel tank capacity of 48 litres, and it delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 15.04 kmpl for the 1.5-litre engine and 14.51 kmpl for the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine. The top speed of the Astor is 183 kmph, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 10.23 seconds.


The MG Astor is loaded with features, making it one of the most tech-laden SUVs in its segment.
